1. Where is Family Connections located?

2. How do I get there?


From l0th Ave S. , go to 6th street (this is a one way) to downtown until you get to Central Ave and we are right there on the corner. We are across from the Public Drug. We are in the same building as the Rachel's Furniture Store and Beartooth NBC. Go to the second floor and take a left off the stairs/elevator, we are down the hallway.

3. What are your hours?

8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. We are open during the noon hour.

4. I heard you pay for child care, how do I sign up and how do I know if I qualify?

You will need to come to our office and pick up a scholarship application. We can also mail or fax these. You may speak with any of the case workers at the phone numbers listed above to learn the requirements for receiving the scholarship.

5. Can I fax my paperwork to you?

Yes, make sure your name and case manager's name is on the paperwork is on the paperwork whenever possible. Our fax is 406-453-8976.

6. Who do I call when there is a problem or I have a complaint about my child's child care facility?

7. If I don't qualify for child care assistance can I still get a list of child care providers in my area?

Yes! Just call and ask for a referral for a child care program.

8. Do I have to make an appointment?

No, if you would like to call in advance to make an appointment with a case manager but it is not required.

9. Do you have parenting classes?

We host courses of interest to parents. Please see our training calendar.

10. I am interested in opening my own child care, how do I get started?

Refer to the training calendar section of this web site and sign up for the next Orientation class. All of the information you will need is at that class. Additionally, you may call and ask to speak with any of the trainers.

11. What are the state of Montana's regulations for child care?
