Provider Training Program

Family Connections believes that trained Childcare Providers and Early Childhood Educators offer a higher quality of early care and education for children. We offer training in several areas:

SOS (Starting Out Successfully) (click to learn more and for scheduling)
Starting Out Successfully (SOS) is an onsite training provided to an individual or facility staff on an appointment basis. Please call Family Connections to set up an appointment to take this training.

Correspondence Courses (click to learn more and for scheduling)
These courses satisfy 2 hours of training and cost $15.00

Orientation (click to learn more and for scheduling)
Orientation is designed for individuals wanting to start providing care for children in their homes or in a center setting. This is also excellent training for childcare staff members.

Evening or Saturday-Morning Workshops (click to learn more and for scheduling)
These workshops are designed to help Providers obtain their required eight hours of annual training.

Infant-Toddler Modules (click to learn more and for scheduling)
The Infant-Toddler Modules are designed to enhance the quality of care for infants and toddlers by defining and evaluating the needs of infants and toddlers in a childcare setting.

Child Development Associate (CDA) (click to learn more and for scheduling)
The CDA program is designed to enhance the quality of childcare by defining, evaluating, and recognizing the competence of childcare providers.

Saturday Seminars (click to learn more and for scheduling)
These seminars are designed to help providers obtain their required hours of training and CEUs (Continuing Education Units) for CDA renewals.

Weekday classes in the morning (click to learn more and for scheduling)
These classes are held during the week in the morning.
