Provider Training Program

Family Connections believes that trained Childcare Providers and Early Childhood Educators offer a higher quality of early care and education for children. We offer training in several areas:

Orientation (click to learn more and for scheduling)
Orientation is designed for individuals wanting to start providing care for children in their homes or in a center setting.

Starting Out Successfully (SOS) (click to learn more and for scheduling)
SOS is designed to start providers on the right track of professionalism and quality by developing competencies in eight core areas.

Child Development Associate (CDA) (click to learn more and for scheduling)
The CDA program is designed to enhance the quality of childcare by defining, evaluating, and recognizing the competence of childcare providers.

Infant-Toddler Modules (click to learn more and for scheduling)
The Infant-Toddler Modules are designed to enhance the quality of care for infants and toddlers by defining and evaluating the needs of infants and toddlers in a childcare setting.

Evening or Saturday-Morning Workshops (click to learn more and for scheduling)
These workshops are designed to help Providers obtain their required eight hours of annual training.
