Finding childcare can be a difficult experience, especially for the first-time parent. Becoming informed on how to choose quality care can make this task easier. Choosing a situation that meets your child's needs, as well as yours, will assist in reducing the stress of leaving your child for the first time. What are my choices? Anyone providing childcare to three or more children on a regular basis is required by law to be registered or licensed unless they are established primarily for educational purposes.
How much does it cost? Costs vary according to the type of childcare you choose. Do not let the cost keep you from getting the best care available.

Licensing and registration does not guarantee a quality program. All parents are encouraged to visit programs prior to enrolling a child.
